We had lots of ideas at first for our wedding ceremony. As we were researching we came across Exploration Place, a museum in Wichita.
Our first actual date was at Exploration Place. It was a sweet surprise for Emily. At the time, Emily wanted to be a medical doctor and the exhibit was “The Human Body.”
The area the coordinator showed us for weddings was too small. We were planning to invite several hundred people. She then showed us where the museum held banquets and receptions. We walked in and knew it would be perfect. The lighting and acoustics were amazing!
How many couples can say they got married where they had their first date? Not many, we are sure.
