Even if we would not have been married down the Arkansas River from the Keeper of the Plains, we would have went out of our way to do some photos there.
Emily is not originally from Kansas, she moved here when she was two. Chris is a native. The duo met in Wichita and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
For those not from the area, you may not know the history of the Keeper-
The Keeper of the Plains stands on sacred ground. It is where the Indians rested after fleeing their native Oklahoma & Texas. It is where Chris and Emily spent Riverfest evenings, took walks, and watched the fire rings illuminate the south-central Kansas sky. The Keeper represents home and the promise of love never ending.
Sound like a fairytale wedding, yet? It was!
