Columbus Zoo in Ohio
When visiting Ohio last year, we were able to do many fun activities. A thing on Emily’s childhood bucket list was to visit the Columbus Zoo. For those who are not familiar, Columbus Zoo was made famous by Jungle Jack Hanna.
When driving back from Cleveland, we learned the Columbus Zoo had a walk through light tour. We decided to do something not only festive, but also, a once in a lifetime opportunity. We “safaried” through the zoo. While it was relatively nice weather and full of pretty lights, the animals weren’t exactly unique. The exhibits were well planned out, but overall, the Columbus Zoo did not live up to Emily’s childhood dream.
Even though the Columbus Zoo was not the best zoo we have ever been to, Emily was still happy to fulfill something on her childhood bucket list. We had left bright and early that morning and returned after midnight to our family’s home. It was a great day of touring Northern Ohio.
