Yesterday we returned from an extended weekend trip. Though we are not saying exactly where we ended up just yet, take the next week to enjoy posts about different pieces of our mini-vacation.
After a long day on the road, we were ready to chill at the hotel. We had endured higher winds than we are accustomed to and highway I-70 was closed. Following the highway would take us to Denver, CO where we would get to eat at an amazing, family owned delicatessen. However, with the highway leading in closed, we had to detour straight to Cheyenne. By the time we checked into the hotel, we were looking for something tasty to eat.

The original pizza place we had selected did not deliver and we did not want to go out to pick-up dinner. We decided to order from Hambones and were pleasantly surprised. (We found the name a bit off putting.)

Let’s talk pizza- The crust was not salty and both pizzas had quality tasting cheese. Chris ordered the Spicy Cluck and Emily ordered the Chicken Alfredo. The Spicy Cluck was the duo’s favorite, but both felt the pizza could have less cream cheese. The Chicken Alfredo would have been better with mushrooms instead of tomatoes. Be warned- We did not enjoy the Chocolate Chip Cookie Bread.

The price was not bad at around $35 with tip. We were quoted 45 minutes for our delivery time, but the order arrived in less time. Overall, if we went to Cheyenne again, we would grab pizza from Hambones Pizza.
